Dear Oregonians Against Pipelines & LNG Terminals,

As you may know, the fossil fuel industry has 28 new or expanded terminals planned for the Pacific Northwest. We will not allow our beloved state to become a sacrifice zone to their profits!

That's why we organized the NoLNG Oregon “Pledge of Resistance” campaign to stop the two fracked gas export projects planned for Oregon.

On Thursday, April 16th 6:30-8:00 pm, First United Methodist Church, 1376 Olive, Eugene

NoLNG Expert Panel & Community Discussion
Jody McCaffree – Exec. Director of Citizens Against LNG (Coos Bay) Stacey McLaughlin – Affected Landowner & Earth Advocate (Southern Oregon) Ted Gleichman – Conservationist, Sierra Club (Portland)

On Sunday April 26th 1:30-6:30 pm, FUMC 1376 Olive, Eugene “Pledge of Resistance” Training

At the end of this training participants will be prepared to participate in non-violent direct action. They will have selected their particular roles. Not all roles risk arrest. They will have an understanding of the potential consequences of their actions as well as the legal and organizational structures available to support them. They will have a shared narrative of the fight against fracked gas export pipeline & terminal projects, as well as grounding in the NoLNG campaign strategic framework. They will have developed their personal stories around the pipeline & LNG terminal fight and prepared their action visuals.
PLEASE BRING A potluck snack to share for our break!

Please respond to this email to let me know if you would like to attend the training on April 26th. If this date does not work for you but you would like to attend a future training that we will hold when we have enough sign-ups, please let me know. Email is easier but call if needed 541-343-5091.

Please feel free to contact me with questions and feel free to pass this invitation on to friends.
To change everything, it will take everyone!

Thanks for doing your part!
