  • We propose to educate residents about their rights in order to build a vibrant community rights movement in Douglas County.
  • CRDC seeks to develop local leadership, and organized action teams. throughout Douglas County.
  • We support other groups with their efforts to have their rights recognized to safeguard the community and to outlaw corporate harm.

Chauncey Peltier (right) – Justice for Leonard Peltier
Chauncey is a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and local resident. He is the son of Leonard Peltier, a Native American Activist who     remains incarcerated even though he became eligible for parole in 1993


Andrea Falgout (right) – Respect Indigenous Peoples
Andrea is a Native American Ally (Cupeno and Mexican descent) who educates     and advocates for removal of the Roseburg Indians mascot
