Lincoln County Community Rights

Lincoln County

We are Lincoln County Community Rights, a group of concerned citizens that feel the regulatory system used to approve or reject projects has been set up to suit the needs of corporations, and to keep communities from being Green, Sustainable, and Resilient in the face of global weather changes.

We want to make Lincoln County a leader in a new, sustainable economy, based on our chosen long-term goals for our county, not on a corporate agenda focused on short-term profit at whatever cost.

To protect ourselves and our ecosystems, Lincoln County Community Rights is working to place an ordinance on the ballot that would ban aerial spraying of pesticides in Lincoln County.

We Won! The voters of Lincoln County successfully said NO to aerial spraying. Though the matter is now in the hands of a judge, right now in Lincoln County it is illegal to aerial spray! Way to go Lincoln County!

Review the ordinance.
